2. Prepare a safe workspace. This includes safety goggles and gloves, tools to fasten and/or clamp the boards to the wall, a damp cloth or rag, and a chisel to remove any cured excess adhesive.
3. Prepare your trim boards for installation, ensuring all surfaces that require adhesive are smooth and clean. This will improve the longevity of the boards. 
4. Apply a thin layer of construction adhesive to the trim board.
